Old School Abbey came in and recorded a great CD. They are a college band from West Virginia and have written some great hook pop/rock songs of love and angst. Visit www.oldschoolabbey.com
Listen to their title cut, 'A Girl Like You' on the artists page."
Jerry Phillips walked into the studio 5 months ago with an idea for a 'Recovery' CD.... for a person who does not play any instruments he has ended up with a real solid Rock/Country album.... you can listen to the title cut, 'World of Addiction' on the artists page and buy the CD here. Also, he is one of the most authentic people you'll ever meet with a great 'rock' voice like Delbert McClinton crossed with John Prine. I enjoyed working with him on this project and he has become a good friend as a result. Listen, you'll enjoy!
Fire in the Kitchen has recorded a great CD. I call it 'Top forty hits from the Civil War'.... I don't know if they have a title yet, but the CD is mixed and waiting final approval from the democratic republic known as the Fire in the Kitchen members...... they played wonderfully.... flutes, fiddles and hammered dulcimers.. guitars, upright and boran.... they are unique...
Tim White & Friends came back in to finish recording a CD they started in 2,000... they have recorded several CD's since then, but this one got put on the shelf for reasons known only by the strange members of this wacky band. Now they're back!! I always get my best jokes from Tim White & friends.... this CD was going to be originally called 'You Asked For It!' because it contained all the usual requests for the favorite Bluegrass hits.... they have a list of great guest players on it including the phenomenal Tony Collins on guitar and Hunter Berry on fiddle, (currently with Rhonda Vincent). |

At the end of 1998, Richard Porter, after recording for 17
years in New Orleans, became the 4th owner of the studio and
immediately expanded, remodeled and upgraded the facilities.
