Recording Studio has 5 recording spaces plus the large control
room.
The
main room is 27 feet by 17 feet with 13 foot ceilings. We
have recorded many bands from the Charles Goodwin 15 piece
Big Band Orchestra to Bluesgrass bands, such as the Clinch
Mountain Boys, (Ralph Stanley's Band), all in the main room.
It is lined with natural tongue in groove pine and has a beautiful
ambience.
The
drum room is seprated by two heavily insulated walls and two
pieces of 1/2 inch thick glass. It is 13 by 15 feet and is
also lined with tongue in groove pine and has a great sound.
At
the other end of the room are 2 completely dead sound booths.
The mics hear nothing but the instrument.
Next
to the control room is the large vocal room. It is also completely
deadened but it is large enough to accomodate a 4 member singing
group.
The
control room is a non symetrical space which has a 17 foot
back wall, with 11 foot ceilings and a front wall of 13 foot
with 9 foot ceilings. The back wall accomodates our large
client leather couch. |
